What's the issue?

The issue:

Honda is VERY stingy in the grease department. It's expensive stuff you know!

The Fix:

A must- do on ALL BRP's. Tear her down before you ride her much, if any at all. Use a good waterproof grease. Anything with an "aluminum" complex will do the job. Most use Bel-Ray waterproof, but I don't like it, finding that the tackifier breaks down too quickly.

Spots you want to hit are the linkage, swingarm bearings (check this out), brake pedal pivot, axles and seals, and steering head. Coat the axles and even engine frame bolts with a fine film of grease to prevent rust.
